Hard Wax

Hard Wax

Hard Wax

Hard wax is much more gentle than soft wax so removal won\’t be as intense as soft wax is. Once cooled enough put the wax on the are to remove. Let it cool and slowly peel up the section in a quick movement. Always go in the direction of the hair growth. Pat down the area with your hand. And repeat process if needed. Waxing with hard wax many feel is the best way to go.

Things To Know About Hard Wax

As you can see waxing with hard wax sometimes takes a little more work than most other things do. The biggest problem you will notice is getting use to working with it. Soft wax is totally different and will cause more pain than hard wax as it gives more. People need to understand that about hard and soft wax. Most people will tell you that working with hard wax would be their choice.

Remember to use soothing creams on the areas that you have work done on. This is because many times redness occurs and creams seem to lessen the pain and speed up healing which is a very important process in waxing. Always remember to avoid the eye area with these types of waxes. Waxing is a never ending process that seems to be changing all the time. Better innovations are coming out to make this type of hair removal less painful than ever before. I see no reason why this trend won\’t continue in the future.

Waxing with hard wax isn\’t for everyone. The people who have it done often will tell you how much they love it. In the end though that decision will be yours. Waxing gives you way to remove that unwanted hair at a very low cost. This is the nice part about waxing it\’s low cost and quick. Many people feel that is good enough for them.

7 Reasons Why you Should Consider It, Brazilian Waxing

Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009

72301840
The Brazilian wax is the next level up from the bikini wax
the former removes all pubic hair while the bikini wax leaves some hair.

The Brazilian wax is more popular than ever today and most women who have one are delighted – not only are they fashionable, but they give a women freedom and are sensual for both men and women.
Origins and popularity

The Brazilian wax originated in Brazil, so women wanting to wear the then-new thong bikinis, which was not widely popular inside the United States at the time.

Brazilian Waxing
became popular in the 1990s in the US before spreading worldwide.

1. It’s hygienic
Waxing of the public area is not new and centuries ago in ancient civilizations such as Persia and India women were waxing their pubic hair.
One of the main reasons is hygiene.
Pubic hair is magnet for germs that can cause bad odors and a variety of skin irritations. Shaving off the pubic hair will dramatically reduce the risk of these problems

2. It Gives you Freedom
You can wear that skimpy bikini, or swimsuit with confidence and lingerie that’s as revealing as you wish without the problem of unslightly hair running your look

3. It’s Sensual
Women have reported frequently they feel more sensual and have more intense orgasms after having a Brazilian wax. Do men like it?
In a recent poll 91% men said that they found it both more attractive and erotic.

4. It’s cheap
Today a Brazilian wax treatment at a salon is not just for the rich with the rise in the popularity of people waxing Brazilian style salons are offering it as a standard beauty treatment and prices are affordable to all.
You can get DIY Waxing kits you can use at home but these require some caution and you are best of to use a professional waxer in a salon to avoid accidents

5. It doesn’t take long
In around about 30 minutes a skilled waxer will have the treatment completed, so it’s really as quick as having your nails done.
Like your nails though you need regular treatments as pubic hair re grows.

6. The pain is not as bad as most women think!
The pain is not as bad as many women believe it would be (it is still painful though) and it is tolerable for most women, furthermore as you do more waxing treatments the pain drops down as your skin becomes used to the treatment.

7. The Brazilian wax is more popular than ever and if you want to try it and you’re not sure about the pain start with a Bikini wax first to see how you feel.

So it’s hygienic, sensual, liberating, affordable and takes very little time so there is a lot to be said for waxing Brazilian style, if you have not considered all the advantages add them up and take the plunge.

New Jersey’s Ban on Brazilian Waxing

Ban on Brazilian waxing ridiculous and invasive

iphone-may 018.JPG

March 23, 2009 by Leslie Ventura

New Jersey’s take on hair removal uncalled for

The Brazilian wax has been a controversial procedure since it gained great popularity in the late ‘90s and early 2000s. Many older people, find the look to be a disgusting trend fueled by a lust for younger women.  I have to wonder – do these people not shave their armpits and legs either?

While some argue that even shaving your pits and legs attributes to a desire for younger, more innocent looking girls, many would disagree. And even if this was the case, does this justify a ban on waxing? Both women and men shave out of personal preference or because the phenomenon of shaving is an accepted social construct. Frankly, it would be weird if we didn’t shave.  While there are people who don’t shave these areas regularly, the majority of us do.

But  some people still regard removing underarm and leg hair differently than removing pubic hair. The ancient Babylonians are documented to have created depilatories for the removal of hair. The removal of body hair is such a social norm that not shaving makes people the minority.  As opposed to the removal of pubic hair, we can’t pinpoint the origins of shaving our underarm and leg hair, but most of us feel like it’s probably been around forever.

Most likely, people find the procedure absurd because they aren’t used to it. The fact that sex is a subject that is considered taboo makes it easy for state legislatures to want to ban things like Brazilian waxing because it involves regions we’re shy to talk about.

One’s first assumption from hearing the case might be that Brazilian waxing is an invasive, painful procedure administered by people who aren’t fully trained, in order to achieve a result that shouldn’t be desirable. Sure, it’s easy to propose a ban on something that is made to sound awful, but not when the real facts are considered.

Waxing any region is painful and if done incorrectly can cause problems. Brazilian waxing is safe when done correctly. For anyone who has ever had anything waxed: eyebrows, arms or bikini line, you already know it hurts. But we trust licensed aestheticians to do the job correctly, minimizing pain as much as possible and not causing us infections.

If two girls in the state of New Jersey got infections so severe they had to be hospitalized, the state board should be investigating the salons where the procedures were done. Thousands of women and men receive Brazilian waxes every year and are never hospitalized. And while some people might just have adverse reactions, the people who gave the waxes to these women should have their licenses reviewed and possibly revoked. No one should end up in a hospital after a Brazilian wax.

Perhaps the steps to achieving the license are too easy. I myself have never gone through this type of training. However, someone who performs an invasive service to the human body, like a tattoo artist, should adhere to strict guidelines before being allowed to charge the public for one’s services.

Whether the system is just too lax right now or not, I’m glad New Jersians finally agreed that banning Brazilian waxing is not the answer.

Once we begin banning things because a few people have an atypical experience, who knows where the list would end. Our bodies are our own property and people should be able to make decisions about their bodies freely as long as we aren’t causing others harm. The idea that a state wanted to ban something like Brazilian waxing is bizarre to say the least. Would we ban services like manicures and body piercings if some people had bad experiences?

New Jersey residents should enjoy the service while it lasts and hope that they won’t have to go across state boundaries to get a Brazilian wax.

Organic Facials

Sweet Samba will be offering organic facials from Eminence Organics. For half a century, Eminence has been refining and improving the formulas for their spa products, using nature’s own ingredients to enhance and assist in the body’s own rejuvenating and healing functions.

Originally, the herbs, fruits and vegetables used to develop the Eminence product line were brought from small Hungarian villages, or hand picked and processed from our own gardens. Today these natural ingredients continue to be grown in organic conditions in Hungary in our exclusive farms. Natural ingredients from the earth and seas, such as: linden and calendula plants, jasmine and rose petals, rosehip, yarrow, green foods, nettles, paprika, natural thermal mineral spring waters, plus a variety of botanical extracts give rise to a beautiful, clear, balanced, revitalized, and naturally glowing complexion, visible results that only nature can produce.

Eminence ingredients are free of parabens and other harsh chemicals and are guaranteed to be 100% natural to ensure that Sweet Samba’s clients see and feel the dramatic results associated with the Eminence line. Eminence products have never been tested on animals, and our packaging is 100% recyclable.

Our skin acts as a barrier between us and the outside world, but sometimes being a barrier is a dirty job. Dirt, smoke, pollution and the sun can wreak havoc on our complexion, leaving it looking dull, aged and sallow. Facials help to rejuvenate the skin by rehydrating, exfoliating, and deep cleansing your hard working skin. Our licensed estheticians work with you to identify your skin’s needs and properly care for them with organic products that help your face defy time.

Not only do facials cleanse and restore natural moisture, they also act as a preventative measure to premature aging by minimizing blemishes, dry skin, wrinkles and acne. Facials also increase circulation and improve stress levels, helping our skin’s true beauty shine, even through all of the stuff we put it through. To fully reap the anti-aging benefits of facials, it is advisable to begin receiving them every other month.
