I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN DRAWN TO MIXING
DIFFERENT DESIGN MEDIUMS WHETHER ITS
ARCHITECTURE, FASHION, OR JEWELRY. BYBOE
IS ABOUT THE PURE, NATURAL ELEGANCE
THAT COMES FROM THAT MELDING. IT’S ALSO
ABOUT INSTINCT-FROM THE WAY IT IS
DESIGNED TO THE WAY THAT IT’S WORN

Founded in 2000, by boe began as an intimate retail shop (originally named Annika Inez) on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, which also served as Annika’s workshop. The designer’s Scandinavian roots and diverse creative experiences-including interior design studies at Parsons and an apprenticeship with a couture dressmaker in Dubai-immediately yielded something altogether provocative and new in the contemporary jewelry market. Along with Annika’s uncommon take on architectural and nature-inspired pendants, cuffs, and earrings, Philippe’s mutually complementary professional experiences-including marketing studies at New York University and extensive production work and jewelry-making abroad-helped quickly grow the brand: Soon after opening their boutique, the Salames began expanding by boe with a larger retail outpost in SoHo and the establishment of a new wholesale jewelry business.

Sweet Samba just got bigger with Big Buddha bags.
Handbag designer Jeremy Bassan caused quite a commotion when he started shipping a noticeable number of packages from his college dorm room.
From small beginnings designing purses from his home in Santa Barbara, California, the 25-year-old has been diligently working to establish Big Buddha as a front-runner in affordable fashion-forward handbags for women.
Bassan designs handbags for the modern woman who may juggle a career, school, or a family. Big Buddha bags are eco-friendly, stylish, fun and won’t break the bank. Bassan keeps busy overseeing every aspect of Big Buddha design and production.
Big Buddha bags work for women of any age – from polished and classic styles to playful, sassy shapes – the company’s designs continue to innovate and change with fashion trends.
Big Buddha’s handbags have been praised in a plethora of publication for their stand-out style and versatility: In Style, Lucky, Teen Vogue, Ladies’ Home Journal, and Marie Claire.

Short and Sweet
You love the colors of summer. Blues, greens and pinks that are light and airy- you know the drill. Fittingly one of the newest summer dresses at Sweet Samba’s boutique is a watery blue, and not to mention, super cute. With an empire waist and ruching throughout the skirt, this little number will not only show off your bronzed shoulders, but a hint of decolletage. And when the breeze blows later in the night, wrap a colorful pashmina around your shoulders to combat your chill or loop a summer scarf ’round your neck. But whatever way you choose to rock it, we’re sure you’ll look hot. And that goes without saying.
What’s New for Summer in Sweet Samba Boutique?

Long dresses are the new black
Normally the summertime is meant to show off those toned legs and arms in something short. Well why not leave a little to the imagination by not giving it all away too fast. Remember what mom said when you were in high school. Well the same applies now-leave a little something to the imagination. Follow in the footsteps of celebs like Paris Hilton, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Simpson who love long dresses, and don this fabulous long purple cotton dress. So you can now say you actually did something that mom told you to do. Well kind of. You didn’t hire that personal trainer at L.A. Fitness for flabby arms did you? Show them off.

Into the Wild
Want to look like you zipped to an exotic place for a weekend jaunt and picked up some clothes in a land glamorous and far away? Or just look like Lauren Conrad from The Hills? Well stop by Sweet Samba’s boutique and pick up this blue, black, brown, yellow and red Ikat top and pair it with some cute little black shorts or some skinny leg colored jeans. Perhaps even try it out over another Ikat print dress to, you know, spice it up a little. In case you haven’t already.

Hey baby
Nobody puts baby in the corner, according to Johnny in Dirty Dancing. Well no one puts you in the corner either. Especially in that fantastic embroidered top, we just got in at Sweet Samba’s boutique. Embroidery is huge this summer and has been all over the runways of Bryant Park (New York Fashion Week). So even though we know you’re not a slave to trends, you like to be in the know. So scoop up on of these tops and everyone will be asking, where in the world did she get that?
